The Powell Aquatic Center (PAC) will host its annual PAC Triathlon on Saturday, May 28.
The event kicks off with a 500-yard swim in the PAC — equal to 20 lengths of the pool. Lap counters will be available for swimmers.
Contestants will then go out of the north entrance and participate in a 15.5-mile bike ride before starting on the final portion of the triathlon.
Athletes will then participate in a 3.1-mile run (out and back) to finish the race.
“We have good representation from Billings, Montana, and even a couple as far as Glenrock,” said Tanya Bonner, PAC co-director.
Registration for the event closes Sunday, May 22. Those who enter will receive a free T-shirt.
Fees: $35 for solo competitors and $65 for teams.
