Norma was born in Mankato, Kansas, in 1927. Her parents were Ray and Verma Schuster.
The family moved to Cody in 1935 where she attended school. Norma was the sixth of 10 children.
Norma married Harold Jr. Carter in Billings, Montana. There were three boys born in that union. They divorced after 26 years of marriage.
She married Walt Roemmich three years later. Walt passed in 1995.
Norma is survived by two sons, Melton Luke Carter and Robert Dane Carter, eight grandkids, 17 great-grandkids, five great-great-grandkids, one sister, Belva Mulley, of Cody, and numerous nephews and nieces.
At Norma’s request, there will be no services.
