Sean Munger has been added as an assistant to the Powell High School football program.
When the football season gets going — hopefully this summer — the PHS science teacher will be part of the team assisting new head coach Chase Kistler.
“Coach Munger brings collegiate experience to the table as he played a year at Chadron before devoting his athletic career to just track. Sean is an established teacher here at Powell High School and knows our athletes well,” said PHS Activities Director Scott McKenzie. “He [Munger] will bring enthusiasm and knowledge to the program. We are excited for the staff to meld together this offseason and prepare for next fall.”
