John Holton Jacobson passed away on Feb. 13, 2022, in Powell.
He was born on July 21, 1960, to Harold Lloyd Jacobson and Mary Lois Jacobson.
Over his life, he lived in Grand Junction, Colorado, North Carolina, and Powell.
John was self employed at making people laugh.
He was a member of the Faith Community Church.
John enjoyed golf and was a member of the Powell Golf Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Nicholas Jacobson.
John is survived by his brother Stan Jacobson of Grand Junction, Colorado; sister Debbie Jacobson of Crawford, Colorado; sister Becky (Ken) Capaeau; and niece Elizabeth Winning.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m., at Faith Community Church in Powell. As per John’s wishes, friends and family are encouraged to come as they are in hats and casual dress. A celebration of life will come later.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in honor of John to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Marcus, Richie Shumway, Roland Morrison, Charlie Noakes, Arlie Shermeister, and Larry Schleich.
