Irene Rose Wrobleski, 89, was born April 10, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois. She died July 3, 2020, in her home in Byron, with her family at her side.
Irene was born to Vincent and Adeline Sulima (Gudewicz). She was the third of four children. Irene was married to Alexander Wrobleski for 63 years. Al preceded Irene in death. Together they had three children, Lidia (Valesquez), Pam (Joe Mooney), and Debbie (Ontiveros).
Al and Irene moved to Byron in December 1986 and fell in love with country living. Al and Irene had 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Irene loved children. She was a teachers’ helper at Lovell Elementary. Irene had a hearty laugh that will surely be missed.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Cremation has taken place. Services will be at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Powell on July 25, 2020, at 11 a.m. Mom, Grandma, you surely will be missed.
