Heading into week No. 8 of the Good Old Boys the game of choice was a modified version of Chicago.

In this game you use three of four players net scores, where a bogie counts for one point, a par counts for two points, a birdie counts for three points and an albatross counts as four points.

The first place team of Larry Hedderman, David Frost, Tom Bibbey and Lloyd Snyder won with a score of 118.

In second, the team of Jerry Linsdau, Thom Seliga, Cas Seago and Don Hardy finished with 116 points. 

Finishing with 109 points was the third place team of Dennis McCollum, Paul Devoss, Jim Tobin and Manuel Briseno.

Fourth place went to Steve Burtoft, Buddy Rae, Ed Swistak and Gerry Johns with a 108.

With a score of 107 points was the fifth place team of Marc Saylor and Doug Firth alongside the blind draws of Hardy and Briseno.

In sixth place was the team of Jason Quigley, Clark Jeffs, Rett Wolff and Tanya Bonner with a score of 92.

Three deuces were carded on the day, two on hole No. 8 by Hardy and Seliga and Firth carded one on No. 15.

The low gross of the day went to Frost with a 78 and the low net was a tie between Frost and Seliga with a 71.
