The Good Old Boys league played two best balls from four-man teams at the Powell Golf Club on Tuesday. Buddy Rae, James Caffro, Thom Seliga and Clark Jeffs finished in first place with a score of 125.
The second-place team of Ray Nelson, Cas Seago, Mike Hernandez and Kevin Lineback shot a 128. Four strokes behind them, Gerry Johns, Dave Frost, Gerry Linsdau and Craig Evans finished third with a 132. At 134, two teams tied for fourth: Bill Hendricks, Dennis McCollum, John Chase and Bob Parsons; and Marc Saylor and Lloyd Snyder with a blind draw of Evans and Hernandez. And Jim Tobin, Bob Mason, Tom Bibby and Larry Hedderman finished sixth with a 139.
Two deuces were carded in the round: Mason on hole 4, and Caffro on hole 15. Mason had the low net at 69, and he also tied for the low gross with Jeffs at 78.
