This week’s game of the week for the Good Old Boys league at Powell Golf Club was High-Low. In this game, four-person teams combine high and low net scores on the hole for their team scores.
Clark Jeffs, Bob Mason, Jason Quigley and Kury Reynolds finished in first place at 153.
Two teams tied for second place at 154 — the team of Bill Hendricks, Gerry Johns, Jerry Linsdau and Dennis McCollum and the team of John Chase, Cas Seago, Lloyd Snyder and Howard Whitlock.
One stroke behind, at 155, were Steve Burtoft, Dave Frost, Larry Hedderman and Jim Tobin, who finished in fourth. Mike Hernandez, Kevin Lineback, Thom Seliga and Rhett Wolff finished fifth with a 161. And Tom Bibbey, James Caffro, Ray Nelson and Buddy Rae finished in sixth at 162.
Three deuces were carded: one on hole 8 by Snyder, and two on hole 15 by Wolff and Burtoft. Snyder carded the low net of the day at 70, and Reynolds had the low gross at 76.
