On Tuesday, the “Good Old Boys” golf league at Powell Golf Club played “Cha-Cha-Cha” ball. The game consists of counting one net score on hole one, two net scores on hole two and three net scores on hole three. The process is repeated until the round is complete.
The team of Clark Jeffs, Jim Tobin, Kury Reynolds and Cas Seago won the round, scoring 132.
In second place were Dennis McCollum, Larry Hedderman, Ray Nelson and Lloyd Snyder, who scored 135.
Rhett Wolff, Jerry Lindsau, Buddy Rae and Steve Burtoft finished third at 136. At 140, Tony Walker, Thom Seliga, Jason Quiqley and Mike Hernandez finished fourth. The fifth place team of Kevin Lineback, Bob Parsons, Howard Whitlock and Marc Saylor shot 145.
Reynolds and McCollum carded deuces on hole 15, and Quigley carded one on hole 17. Hedderman, Hernandez and Wolff tied for the low net at 72.
