The heat of July didn’t slow down the Good Old Boys, continuing on with the game of the week being Even-3 on July 22.
In this game, on all even numbered holes each team uses three net scores.
Winning with a score of 104 was the team of Don Hardy, Joe Comer, Randy Mair and Ray Nelson.
Second place went to Jim Tobin, Cas Seago, Ed Swistak and Lloyd Snyder with a 107.
In third place with a 112 was the team of Thom Seliga, Dennis McCollum, Bob Varian and Terry Lane.
Fourth place went to the quartet of Paul Devoss, Stephen Burtoft, Dave Frost and Bob Mason with a 114.
One stroke behind to round out the team scores in fifth was the team of Brian Callahan, Larry Hedderman, Marc Saylor and Clark Jeffs.
Two deuces were carded, Lane on hole No. 17 and Hardy on hole No. 4.
Comer had the low net with 69 and Hardy and Frost tied for the low gross with 79s.
The Good Old Boys rounded out July on the 29th with a game of Two Best Ball, where teams use their two best net balls for their score.
First place with a 129 went to Rhett Wolff, Seago, Comer and Devoss.
Just one stroke behind in second was the team of Varian, Frost, Jeffs and Burtoft.
Third place with a 132 went to the quartet of Mason, McCollum, Hardy and Swistak.
Rounding out the team scores with a 138 was the team of Hedderman, Judge Gambill, Mair and Snyder.
Two deuces were carded, Wolff on hole No. 8 and Seago on hole No. 15.
Mason and Comer tied for the low net at 70 while Hardy and Varian tied for the low gross at 82.
