Frank Salinas Sanchez was born to Amador and Leoneides Sanchez in Lovell, Wyoming, on Jan. 29, 1951, and passed away peacefully Feb. 24, 2023, at the age of 72 surrounded by family and friends. Although there were brief residences in Texas, Colorado and New Mexico, Frank spent most of his life in Byron, Wyoming.

Frank could walk into a room full of strangers and make friends with everyone. He had a heart of gold and passion for making the people who needed it the most, smile. In addition to being a professional jokester he loved fishing, camping, bowling, darts and playing cards. He worked as a truck driver for multiple companies over the duration of his life but what Frank was most known for was being a musician. The Wyoming native played in many bands as a drummer/singer and traveled to countless places to play for crowds of all sizes.

Frank was blessed with a large and loving family. He married the love of his life and best friend, Rosa Gaitan on July 9, 1971, in Lovell. He helped raise his three children with patience, discipline and humility. He taught them many things but amongst all the lessons, the most important thing they could have gained from him, was his love of life and accepting every challenge life threw his way with a smile.

Frank is survived by siblings and spouse Manuel and Carol Sanchez, and Martin Gaitan. Children and their spouses, (grandchildren and great-grandchildren) include: Cindy and Carlos De La Cruz Jr. (Enrique and Anya Sanchez — Kalayna, Mercy-Jo, Mariana, Esme and Zayden), (Aracelie and Jose Villanueva — Luis, Sophia, Ximena, Elena, and Olivia), (Claudia and Rolando Granados — Gabriella, Rolando Jr, Juan, and Cristian), (Carlos and Kianna De La Cruz — Adrianna, Kaamil, Xaviier), Monica and Jesus Rivera (Francisco and Melanie Sanchez -— Troy and Roman), (Melissa Sanchez - Diego, Isabella, and Eleazar Jr), (Juan and Tameka Rivera, and Isaac Rivera), Joe and Alicia Sanchez (Mariah, Abby, Paige, and Ethan), (Heather, Bubba and Shay).

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosa Sanchez, parents Amador and Leoneides Sanchez and siblings Annatolia Ramirez, Andrea Romero and Gene Sanchez.

Remember Frank for the beautiful soul he was and all the laughter and joy he brought to the world.

“There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have come and gone, their light still remains.”
