Few elected officials follow their oaths

Dear Editor:

I am upset that the Wyoming sheriff’s association is not backing the pro-gun bills. Does this mean they are backing Biden’s anti-gun movements? Maybe the oath of office only means to some that now I get a big paycheck.

Some who take the oath of office, the words mean nothing to them, like Liz Cheney. There are only a few of our elected officials who believe what it means or live by it. I can say Cynthia Lummis is for the state of Wyoming and its people, also Anthony Bouchard, Dave Kinskey and maybe a few others, but not many.

I started voting when we had to be 21 years old. That was 62 years ago.
