Powell High School will host a kickoff night Tuesday at 6 p.m. for athletes participating in fall sports and their parents, but it will look a little different this year.
Rather than having parents and athletes gather in a large group, the meetings will take place in different locations:
• The cross country team will meet at the north end zone of the turf field at Panther Stadium.
• For girls swimming, meet at the east tennis courts.
• Golfers will gather at the south end zone of the turf field.
• Football players will meet at the west stadium bleachers.
• For cheerleaders, the meeting will be at the football stadium shed.
• The volleyball team’s meeting will be at the east stadium bleachers.
• Tennis players will gather at the west tennis courts.
Masks are strongly recommended.
Parents and athletes of winter and spring sports do not need to attend the parent meetings.
During the kickoff night, the Powell Athletic Roundtable will have a membership/fundraiser table at the entrance of Panther Stadium.
