The team of Nathan Keefer, Andrew Whitlock, Bill Jarvis and Hunter Schneider won the $500 first place purse at Saturday’s Heartland Classic at the Powell Golf Club.
The winning foursome posted a net score of 51.1 strokes (gross 58) in the scramble format. Second place and $300 went to Charlie Cooley, Brock Frates, West Hernandez and Brett Bassett, who shot a net score of 51.6 (gross 56).
The third place prize of $200 was won by the foursome of Bill Hendricks, Ricky Cates, Joe Cates and Marc Saylor with a net 53.7 (gross 65).
The 28th annual event is a fundraiser for the Powell Medical Foundation, with the proceeds from the 2020 event to aid with the purchase of a 3D mammography unit at Powell Valley Healthcare and to support breast health.
