Beloved Donna Dee Logan, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, entered God’s Kingdom on Feb. 26, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

Donna Dee was born on March 13, 1956 in Powell, Wyoming. Donna lived in Powell, Wyoming all her childhood years with her family, including parents Don and Eunice Collins, sister Tracy Ann and brother Jon. Donna’s family operated a large farming operation growing potatoes for Frito Lay’s Potato Chips. Donna attended public schools in Powell, making a lifetime of great friends, graduating high school in 1974 and continuing her education at Northwest Community College in Powell and then at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. Donna graduated at NWCC with her associate degree in 1976 and BHSU in 1979 with a dual degree BS/BA in childhood education. Her favorite activities were spending time with family and friends for any occasion. Donna knew no stranger as she would greet and speak with all those she came into contact.

Donna met her best friend Dan during her senior year of high school, which was truly a match made in heaven and they married in 1976. Donna and Dan were blessed with three children: two sons, Christopher and Casey, and daughter Cortney, and four grandsons: Donovan Logan 14, Jaxon  Logan 12,  Jacob Logan 9, and Jameson Logan 6. All children and grandchildren live in Loveland, Colorado allowing for a strong family bond. Donna was a loyal servant to God her whole life, first and foremost. She loved her family and loved sharing the love and warmth of her savior, Jesus Christ.

Donna’s career began as a Christian Education Director at First United Methodist Church in Rapid City, South Dakota in Christian ministry spreading the good news of Jesus during her eight years at the church before moving to Loveland, Colorado. Donna began her next mission spreading the news of Jesus for 26 years at Group Publishing, a Christian-based organization. Donna was very proud to be part of the Group Publishing Ministry team that allowed her to quietly share the love of Jesus in daily life. Donna’s No. 1 career was being a mother and grandmother!

Donna joined family members who preceeded her in heaven on Feb. 26, 2023. She is survived by husband Dan, sons Christopher, Casey, daughter Cortney, grandsons Donovan, Jaxon, Jacob, Jameson, brother Jon Collins of Powell, Wyoming, son in law Robert Moore, daughters-in-law Rebecca Logan and Nicole Swift, sister-in-law Diana Sanders and brother-in-law Butch Sanders of Cheyenne, Wyoming, as well as many nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Donna’s favorite things in life were simple yet profound: No. 1 showing the love of Jesus, the season of Christmas, flowers, warm sunny days, visiting with family and friends plus Sunday family dinners!
