The Wyoming Transportation Commission awarded $19 million worth of contracts last month, including one job that went to a local contractor.
S & L Industries, of Cowley, received a $619,928 contract for grading and guardrail work at various locations on U.S. Highway 189-191 between Bondurant and Hoback Junction in Sublette and Teton counties. The company must complete the work by Oct. 31.
The largest contract awarded at the May meeting totaled $4.9 million, going to Avail Valley Construction of Afton to repave 11 miles of road on U.S. 30 in and around Cokeville.
