Chairman Livingston called to order a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Park County, Wyoming, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Present were Vice Chairman, Dossie Overfield, Commissioners, Scott Mangold, Lloyd Thiel, Joe Tilden and Clerk Colleen Renner.
Steve Penwell led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Park County Commissioners – RE: Discuss and Approve Changes to the Park County Employee Health Insurance Plan
Steve Penwell, Chairman of the committee briefed the board on the advantages and recommendations to increase the counties stop loss amount from $70,000 to $100,000. Mr. Penwell also is requesting that the deductible be changed from 50/50 to 80/20 in meeting your deduction amount.
After discussion, Commissioner Overfield made a motion to change stop loss to $100,000, effective July 1, 2021, Commissioner Tilden seconded, and motion carried. Commissioner Overfield made a motion to change the deductible to 80/20, effective January 1, 2022, Commissioner Tilden seconded, and motion carried.
Commissioner Thiel made a motion to adjourn, Commissioner Overfield seconded, and the motion carried.
