Regular Meeting
Tuesday, February 8, 2022
Chairman Overfield called to order a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Park County, Wyoming, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Present were Vice Chairman, Scott Mangold, Commissioners Lee Livingston, Lloyd Thiel, Joe Tilden and Clerk Colleen Renner.
Mike Garza led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Brian Edwards, Park County Engineer, Public Works Department – RE: Open Statement of Qualifications for HVAC systems upgrade
Mr. Garza, Buildings & Grounds and Mr. Edwards opened three statements of qualifications that were received by the Clerk’s office. The aging HVAC systems in the courthouse needs to be updated and it is in the counties best interest to procure the services of licensed professionals to design, bid and oversee the construction.
Proposals were received from:
Con’eer, Billings MT
West Plain Engineering, Casper and/or Rapid City SD Engineering Design Associates, Casper WY
Commissioner Thiel will join Mr. Garza and Mr. Edwards to review the documents and return with a recommendation at the March 1st meeting. Mr. Edwards wanted to forewarn the board that this summer may not be realistic to complete the replacement due to supply issues.
Executive Session.
Commissioner Livingston made a motion to enter executive session pursuant to W.S. § 16-4-405 (a) (ix), Commissioner Tilden seconded, and motion carried.
Commissioner Livingston moved to exit from executive session, Commissioner Mangold seconded, and the motion carried. No decisions were made in or as a result of the executive session.
