Regular Meeting
Tuesday, December 8, 2020
Chairman Tilden called to order a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Park County, Wyoming, on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Present were Vice Chairman, Lee Livingston, Commissioners, Dossie Overfield, Jake Fulkerson, Lloyd Thiel, and Clerk Colleen Renner.
Chairman Tilden led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Park County Planning & Zoning Director, Joy Hill – RE: Park County Planning & Zoning Employee Wages
Ms. Hill presented her case for a merit increase for the Office Assistant in her department. After discussion on the increase in revenue in the department, the allowance of replacing the wastewater position with a planning technician and how budgeting may look moving forward. Discussion revolved around the increase in P&Z department revenue, replacing the small wastewater administrator and the addition of a planning technician. Commissioner Fulkerson made a motion to allow the 54-cent increase for the individual, Chairman Tilden seconded for further discussion, Commissioner Thiel mentioned the possibility of re-evaluating positions, Commission Livingston expressed concern about future budgets and Commissioner Overfield stated Ms. Hill has presented this twice and the increase is probably overdue. Chairman Tilden called for the question, and motion carried.
Adjourn.
Commissioner Livingston made a motion to adjourn, Commissioner Overfield seconded, and the motion carried.
