AN ORDINANCE INCREASING SANITATION AND RECYCLE RATES, AND ESTABLISHING A GARBAGE COLLECTION AND HAULING FUEL SURCHARGE, PURSUANT TO POWELL CITY CODE SECTION 8.08.120
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the governing body of the City of Powell, Park County, Wyoming, as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Powell City Code Section 08.08.120, Sanitation and Recycle Rates are hereby increased as follows:
Sanitation (Ord 8.08.120) RECYCLE (ORD 8.08.120)
Minimum/Month Cardboard Containers Mininum/Month
Residential $36.00 1 yard 1/week $5.00
Additional Roll Out $15.00 2 yard 1/week $7.00
Small Commercial $38.83 2 yard 2-3/week $10.00
Commercial (2/week) $90.95 3 yard 2-3/week $12.00
Commercial (3/week) $111.46 Recycle rate for any residential or commercial
Commercial (6/week) $148.92 that does not have cardboard recycling:
Hand Pickup $16.90 per pickup $2/month
Garbage Fue Surcharge: 1% of the monthly garbate rate for diesel fuel prices between $3.00-$3.20/per gallon plus 0.5% for each additional 20¢ per gallon. Based on the published Energy Information Administration (EIA) Diesel Fuel Price for the Rocky Mountain Region (PADD4) at the time of billing.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon adoption and publication as required by law.
