ORDINANCE NO. 4, 2019
AN ORDINANCE RE-ZONING A PORTION OF TRACT 3, LOT 63, STONECREST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF POWELL FROM GENERAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-G) TO AGRICULTURAL CULTIVATION DISTRICT (A-C)
WHEREAS, the owners of real property, having the following legal description as set forth herein have requested the re-zoning of said lot from its current zoning designation of R-G, General Residential District, to a zoning designation of A-C, Agricultural Cultivation District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Powell Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, February 25, 2019, at 7:00 o’clock p.m. to consider this proposed zoning change; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Governing Body of the City of Powell on March 4, 2019, at 6:05 p.m., the purpose of which was to consider the proposed zoning change request.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Powell, Park County, Wyoming as follows:
Section 1: The Zoning District Designation for the following described property is hereby re-zoned from R-G, General Residential District, to A-C, Agricultural Cultivation District, pursuant to Chapter 17.64 of the Powell Municipal Code. The Zoning District Map of and for the City of Powell shall be amended to reflect the change in this zoning designation. The property re-zoned is described as follows:
5.69 AC. DES. AS: BEG. AT THE NE COR. OF TR. 3, LOT 63, THEN S.00̊08’31”W. ALONG THE E. LINE OF SAID TR. FOR 491.36’, N.89̊47’31”W. FOR 295.23’, THEN ALONG A CURVING LINE TO THE NW TO A POINT ON THE N. LINE OF TR. 3 WHICH LIES S.89̊47’31”E. A DIST. OF 750.05’ FROM THE NW COR. OF TR. 3, THE S.89̊47’31”E. ALONG THEN N. LINE OF SAID TR. FOR 562.48’ TO POB TR. 3, LOT 63 T55 R99 (A.K.A. STONECREST ADD’N. TO THE CITY OF POWELL)
Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after adoption and publication as required by law:
