ORDINANCE NO. 7, 2021
AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE 2021-22 BUDGET FOR THE CITY
OF POWELL, WYOMING FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF JULY, 2021
AND ENDING THE 30TH DAY OF JUNE 2022.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF POWELL, PARK COUNTY, WYOMING, as follows:
Section 1. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated for the objects and purpose mentioned and specified and which are deemed necessary to defray expenses and liabilities of the City of Powell, Wyoming, for the fiscal year beginning the first day of July, 2021, and ending the 30th day of June, 2022. The budget is prepared by department and the City of Powell reserves the right to transfer appropriations within categories of a department.
General Fund Requirements: Water Fund Requirements: 1,689,353 Administration 641,958 City Attorney 106,371 Wastewater Fund Requirements: 715,629 Finance 458,267 Inspection Services 131,564 Sanitation Fund Requirements: 1,818,897 Streets & Alleys 1,125,621 Parks 739,061 Electric Fund Requirements: 8,474,327 Golf Course 59,000 Police 2,576,891 Fiber Fund Requirements: 404,525 Municipal Court 26,935 Airport 322,634 Capital Projects Fund: 14,500 City Shop 272,585 City Council 150,174 Economic Development: 2,713,724 Aquatic Facility 1,666,558 TOTAL REQUIREMENTS 8,277,619 TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS: 24,108,574
Section 2. For the fiscal year 2021-2022 there shall be levied and collected taxes for general revenue purposes in the amount of $267,929 on the dollar valuation of all taxable property, not to exceed the maximum allowable .008 mills, within said City.
Section 3. Any Ordinance or parts of Ordinance in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon adoption and publication as required by law.
