The Buffalo Bill Center of the West invites everyone to a free, holiday open house weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5 and 6. Enjoy holiday decorations, complimentary hot cocoa and candy canes, a stellar store sale, and two free days to explore the center’s five spacious museums.
The holiday open house is an annual tradition in Cody, and the museum still plans to celebrate the holiday season with free admission — this year for two days.
While there is no charge, families are encouraged to share the holiday spirit by contributing non-perishable food items that will be distributed through Cody food pantries. New, packaged toys donated at the center’s front entrance will be distributed through Toys for Tots.
Santa is still making his plans, but center leaders expect to see him on Saturday, Dec. 5.
To ensure social distancing, the holiday open house will not feature performance groups this year. The Center of the West said it is following CDC guidelines for social distancing while sanitizing surfaces frequently.
