Local artist Bobbie Brown’s show “By Brush and By Paw” will be at the Plaza Diane Sept. 22-Oct. 22, with the opening reception taking place Sept. 22 from 7-8:30 p.m.
The reception will be attended by Brown and feature “refreshments, a sweet treat and a light appetizer,” a press release from the Plaza Diane said.
According to an artist bio provided by Brown, she was born in Australia but moved to the United States by the time she was 6. She has lived in California, Washington and Utah but has lived in Wyoming for over 30 years. Brown has learned numerous skills including opera. Nine years ago after the death of her husband, Brown began taking art classes and eventually earned an associate of arts degree in fine arts from Northwest College. Brown’s work consists of drawings, painting and sculptures.
Those interested in seeing Brown’s work can stop by the Plaza Diane during gallery hours which are Saturdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. or by appointment.
