This year’s Holiday Open House, an annual tradition in the Cody area, brings a weekend of free admission to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, and Sunday, Dec. 5, enjoy holiday decorations, complimentary hot cocoa and candy canes, and two days to explore the center’s five spacious museums.
Although admission is free, attendees are encouraged to share the holiday spirit by contributing to the collection boxes that will be stationed at the front door. Non-perishable food items will be distributed through Cody food pantries while new, packaged toys will be distributed through Toys for Tots.
Santa is planning to visit the Center, but the times for his appearance are not yet scheduled.
Buffalo Bill Museum Curator Jeremy Johnston will also present a lecture and book signing for “Wyoming History in Art” at 11 a.m. on Dec. 4 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 5.
