Powell High School’s Acting 2 class performed “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani at 7 p.m. in the Nelson Performing Arts Center on Friday.
The romantic comedy uses magical realism (magical elements in an otherwise realistic story) and is one of the most popular plays for high schools. “Almost, Maine” is a series of eight isolated scenes about love set in Almost, Maine, a small town so close to Canada it’s almost outside the United States.
