Janice Lea Fritz, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings, Montana.

She was born June 3, 1939, in Nebo, Illinois, to William and Hyla Keller.

She worked as a cook in several restaurants in Powell. Janice loved cooking for people and getting to know all her customers.

She enjoyed fishing, watching the Braves play ball, bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and trips to the casino with her sister Pat.

She is survived by her daughters Candy Shanks of Powell; Pam (Tony) Casebolt of Panama City, Florida; Martha (Eddie) Wutzke of Powell; and Robbie Shanks of Powell; sister Pat McPherson of Powell; grandchildren Tiffany Wutzke of Powell, Stefanie Hill of Powell; Jason (Yelena) Schulz of Powell; Jessica (Says) Channavong of Ackworth, Georgia; TJ (Jeanne) Casebolt of Dallas, Georgia; Ethan Wutzke of Powell, Tyler Shanks of Powell, Taylor (Levi) Kerbs of Powell; 15 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Marge Wheeler and Shirley Kysar; brothers Jerry, Bob, and Kenny Keller; daughter Jill Keller; son Tommy Shanks and grandson Corey Keller. 

Janice loved pastel colors so feel free to wear colors to celebrate her life. Services are scheduled for Friday, March 29, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, 700 E. Madison in Powell. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell.
