Jan Harrison, 77, lost his long, hard fought battle with Parkinson’s disease on May 26, 2018.
He was born Jan. 12, 1941, to Ray Harrison and Thelma Skogen Harrison. He attended Powell schools and graduated from Powell High School in 1959.
Jan enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1959-1963. He returned to Powell and was an excellent farmer and carpenter.
He had a first life and was married with children. Then in the spring of 1979, he married his best friend and soul-mate Janice, and the family included her children — Eddie, Larissa, Loralee, Darren and Shari.
He was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church, the Powell Elks and the Powell Eagles.
Jan was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Leon, and a great-granddaughter.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
