Dawn Lee (Rendel) McEachron, 54, passed away at her home in Deaver, Wyoming, on Jan. 7, 2019.

She was born in Syracuse, New York, on July 14, 1964, to Allen D. Rendel and Barbara E. (Stitzinger) Rendel.

She graduated from Greybull High School and then moved to Cody, where she worked at West Park Hospital for many years. This allowed her to work at Lake Hospital in Yellowstone National Park for many summers. Dawn truly enjoyed those summers in the park.

She loved animals, having a variety of pets throughout her life. Dawn enjoyed spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens. Her artistic talents really shined in the various arts and craft projects she did. Dawn was also very active in Taekwondo joining Lone Wolf Martial Arts 20 years ago, who became like a second family to her.

Dawn is survived by sisters Christine Matz, Lori (Rendel) Wollan, and Robin (Rendel) Ryan; brother Mike Matz; two nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and stepfather Ernest Matz.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
