Former Powell resident Venita Rae (Carleton) Uchtman, 56, died early Saturday, Aug. 31 at her home in Billings, Mont., after a struggle with pancreatic cancer.
She was employed as a cook at the Time Out Lounge in Powell for several years.
A celebration of her life will take place Saturday, Sept. 7 with an informal gathering of family and friends at the Gold Dust Casino in Billings, Mont., from 2 to 5 p.m.
