Margaret "Marge" Dawn Wheeler, 77, died at the Powell Nursing Home on May 23.

She was born May 28, 1924 in Pearl, Ill. to William F. and Hyla Josephine (Johnson) Keller. On March 5, 1942, she and Forrest "Bud" Wheeler were married in Bowling Green, Mo. They moved to Powell in 1947. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her hobbies included baking, fishing, camping, doing puzzles, shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Bud of the family home; sons Dan Wheeler and wife Sherry of Thermopolis and Steve Wheeler of Cody; daughters Peggy Schneider and husband Phil of Thermopolis; Brenda Wassink and husband Wayne of Powell and Carolyn Wheeler of Worland; two sisters, Janice Fritz of Powell and Pat McPherson of Casper; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, son Elmer Wheeler, brothers Bob, Kenny and Jerry Keller, and sister Shirley Kysar preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. June 3 at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on June 4 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Powell.

Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Wheeler, Rich Schneider, Kevin Schneider, Bart Becker, Ryan Muecke and Eddie Wutzke. Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Gallagher and Dusty Wassink.

Should friends desire, memorials might be made to the Powell Valley Hospice or the charity of donor's choice.
