A longtime Powell area resident, Mary Rose Horn, 91, died Thursday, Feb. 28 at her daughter's home in Denver, Colo.
She was born Aug. 26, 1910, in Havre, Mont., daughter of John and Rose Cestnik. She married Edward James Horn in February, 1949, and they purchased the Lou Peterson farm south of Powell.
After her husband's death in 1964, she continued to live on the farm until 1992, when she moved to Denver to live with her daughter Irene.
Survivors are her daughter, Irene Horn; and a sister, Pauline Cestnik of Denver.
No formal funeral services are planned. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
