Dorothy Margaret Hill

Funeral Mass will be celebrated today (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church in Cody for Dorothy Margaret Hill, who died Friday, Sept. 28 at the West Park Hospital in Cody. She was 88.

She was born to Grant and Bertha (Ballinger) Aduddell on May 26, 1913, in Port Angeles, Wash. In 1916, they moved to Cody where she received her education, graduating from Cody High School in 1931.

On Oct. 19, 1940, she married Henry Hill Jr. in Bozeman, Mont. They were later married in the Catholic Church, and she was a long-time member of St. Anthony's Church and found solace in her faith.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Circle for many years. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed playing bridge, doing handwork, crossword puzzles and listening to music.

Survivors include her son, Ronald D. Hill and wife Carol of Cody; her daughter, Henrietta Moore and husband Larry of Lewiston, Idaho; four grandchildren, Becky Hill of Sheridan, Kristina Kuwana of Alexandria, Va., Stephen Moore of Lewiston, Idaho, and Jason Moore in the Peace Corps in Ivory Coast, West Africa; step-granddaughters Elizabeth Jenkins of Cody and Cathy John of Gaithersberg, Md., and three great grandsons.
