Funeral services will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Barbara's Catholic Church for Ladonna Stringari, 85, who died Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Powell Nursing Home.

Father Tom Ogg will officiate at services. Burial will be in the Belfry Cemetery. Rosary will be recited tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Stringari was a resident of Rocky Mountain Manor, and she loved her life at the Manor.

She was born July 24, 1916, in Canora Saskatchewan, Canada, daughter of Robert H. Dewell and Ella F. (Strong) Dewell. She married Joseph Stringari at Fromberg, Mont., July 22, 1933. They lived in Carbon County, Mont., before Powell.

She was a homemaker, and she loved her garden and her flowers and doing for others.

Survivors include two sons, Robert S. Stringari and wife Connie of Powell and Eugene J. Stringari and wife Althea of Cody; two daughters, LaDonna Andersen and husband Wayne of Laurel, Mont., and Dolores A. Lancaster and husband Doug of Twin Falls, Idaho; three brothers, Lloyd Dewell and wife Freda of Grand Junction, Colo., Jack Dewell and wife Thelma of Missoula, Mont., and Norman Dewell and wife Margaret of Joliet, Mont.; 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and brothers Bert, Harold and Elmer.

Pallbearers at the funeral will be Mark Andersen, Stuart Andersen, Everett Andersen, Scott Stringari, Joe Stringari, Steve Stringari, Gordon Sirrine and Jeff Sirrine. Honorary pallbearers include Mike Stringari, Rebecca Luhn, Toni Kellogg, Pam Sidwell, Cindy Carlson, Kim Vincent, Rhonda Metzger, and Annette McFarlin.

The family would appreciate memorials to Powell Valley Nursing Home.
