Brandon Scott Machado died on Feb. 17, 2017. He was 46.

Brandon loved deeply his cheeseburgers, his animals, the Denver Broncos, his house, beautiful women, a Sunday of Nascar racing, Star Trek, and his adventures in the outdoors. Not necessarily in that order. He hated injustice, hypocrites, cancer, and slow golfers. Not necessarily in that order.

Brandon Machado was born in San Antonio, Texas, on July 31, 1970, to Diana Logan and Richard Machado. He spent the majority of his youth in Powell, where he graduated from high school and attended Northwest College. His adventures took him all over Wyoming and Colorado. He settled down in Casper, where his neighbors and friends became his extended family. He loved where he lived and the people around him. He also attended UW of Casper where he received his bachelor degree in biology.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and father Diana (Logan) and Butch Sanders; his sisters Amber Sanders (Matt Konyha), Jennifer Sanders-Ford (Travis Ford), Wendy (Michael) Clark; his brother Rudy (Elizabeth) Machado; nephew Henry Ford; grandfather Jack Logan; uncles Dan (Donna) Logan, Steve (Sherry) Sanders, Calvin (Jody) Sanders; aunts Sharon Sanders, Anita (Chris) Pelletier, Melanie (Ken) Sanders-Smith; and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his lifelong four-legged companions Roscoe, Cotter, and Daisy Machado; father Rick Machado, grandparents Frieda Logan, Angel and Bea Machado, and Leon and Eva Sanders.

Brandon was an organ donor and gave the gift of life through his donations to others. He would tell the recipients’ and everyone to “Live long and prosper.”

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. at the LDS Church, 525 W. 7th Street in Powell.
