(April 10, 1944 - June 8, 2016)

Paula Dawn Krussow, 72, of Gillette, died June 8, 2016, at her home.

She was born on April 10, 1944, in Powell, and was a great gift to Del and May Benson.

She grew up in Wyoming, traveling with her family while her father worked on bridge and road construction crews.

After graduating from high school, Paula moved to San Diego, California, where she met the love of her life Marvin J. Krussow. They married Dec. 28, 1963, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Chula Vista, California, and began their life journey together.

Paula was a stay-at-home mom but embarked in Avon Corporation in 1986. Along this journey, she was honored with many awards. She spent a lot of donated time with the local theatres as a costume designer along with every other art and craft project she could get her hands on.

After Marvin and Paula’s retirement, she continued Avon until 2013. She then decided to focus her time outside gardening with her husband, playing with her granddaughters, and she really enjoyed all of the family dinners.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin, her parents and one brother.

Paula is survived by her sons, Anthony J. (Laura Cramer) Krussow of Gillette, Joseph D. (Kayte Carson) Krussow of East Grand Forks, Minnesota; sister Sharon Chamberlain of Gillette; brothers Del and Leonard Benson of Gillette; two granddaughters, Abigail and Terria Krussow both of Gillette, and her step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.

Memorials and condolences may be sent to the family in care of Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Court Gillette, WY 82716. Condolences may also be sent at www.walkerfuneralgillette.com.
