Gary C. Fulbright of Deaver died Sunday, April 17, 2016, after a hard fought year-and-a-half battle with cancer at the Spirit Mountain Hospice in Cody. He was 76.

He was born in Denton, Montana, on Dec. 3, 1939, to Charles and Marian Fulbright.

He married his beloved wife of nearly 25 years, Karen, in 1991.

Gary had two sons, Charles Fulbright of Spokane, Washington, Paul Fulbright of Great Falls, Montana; two stepchildren B. Mathew Fisher (Robin) of Bishop, California, and Becca Fisher of Exeter, Rhode Island. From his children he had eight grandchildren.

Gary also had three sisters, JoAnne Pomajevich, Cheryl Kingery, and Leslie Dronen (Dennis), all of Great Falls, Montana.

Gary retired in 2014 from his job in the bentonite mines. He was a gentle and caring man to all he loved, including his dog Ruger.

He was an Army veteran and a member of the Powell American Legion and the Elks Club.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be sent to Spirit Mountain Hospice House, Cody, where he was so tenderly cared for in his last days.

Thompson Funeral Home in Powell is assisting the family with arrangements.
