Allen Akin Sr. died peacefully at the age of 63 at his home in Deaver on March 5, 2016.
He was born on May 17, 1952, in WaKeeney, Kansas, to Calvin and Lois Akin.
He was an Army Veteran, serving in Korea during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children, Allen Jr. (Kirsten), Cyndi Graves, Maria (Zane) Seratt and Nicholas (Michelle); seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers; a sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
