Marjorie Leone Phillips Decker died on Feb. 24, 2016, at the age of 99 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Pete and Betty Rauch, in Monett, Missouri, where she had lived for the past year.

She was born Dec. 30, 1916, in Columbia City, Indiana, daughter of Homer L. and Effa Jones Phillips.

Marjorie married Paul H. Decker on Jan. 9, 1935, at Fairbury, Nebraska.

The couple moved to Powell in 1935, where they shared almost 80 years together until his death in 2014. 

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Homesteader Museum in Powell. She enjoyed gardening and the mountains, especially the Big Horns in the spring.

Survivors include her son Paul (Janet) Decker of Casper; daughter Betty (Pete) Rauch of Monett, Missouri; daughter-in-law Mary Jo Decker of Powell; and son-in-law Richard Franklin of Nebraska. She also is survived by grandchildren Craig, Stan and Garry Decker, Susan Elliott and Jane Elliott, Laura Richards-Lowther and Stephen Decker, Amy Davis and Jason Rauch. 

Marjorie was affectionately known as Aunt Margie to her nieces and nephews and their families and as Granny to 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, with another to be born in June.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; sons David and Forrest; daughters Sandra and Carol; sisters Lucile Karst, Helen Decker and Jean Reid; brother Homer (Bud) Phillips; grandson Rod Decker; and great-grandson Jason Decker. 

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Wyoming when the wildflowers are blooming in the mountains.
