Katherine “Bea” Krusich, of Cheyenne, died at West Park Hospital Long Term Care in Cody on Sept. 14, 2015. She was 88.

Bea was born Nov. 10, 1926, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roy Miller and Willie Estel (Seabolt) Miller.

Bea married the love of her life, Albin Krusich, Jan. 31, 1944. They were married for 63 years. 

Her favorite activity was fishing. She and Al both enjoyed the outdoors and would take every opportunity to take their camper out just to catch a few fish.

Bea was a dedicated mother, grandmother, homemaker, and ran a daycare for over 15 years. Bea loved the children she watched and became lifelong friends with their parents. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cheyenne.

Bea loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much.

She also loved to cook, bake and entertain her friends and family. Bea even won a cooking contest in her younger years with an old family recipe. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Bea is survived by her daughters, Sheila Krusich of Cheyenne, Brenda (Phil) Moore of Cody; son Charles Krusich of Chicago; brother Frank Miller of Colorado Springs; three grandchildren, James (Mariah) Learned, Kelsi (Justin) Sax, Derek (Milli) Moore, and seven great-grandchildren, Kili and Kinli Learned, Phoenix, Autumn, and Finley Sax, Sophia and Alexa Moore.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Albin Krusich; her parents, Roy and Willie Estel Miller; and two brothers, Raymond and Charles Miller.

Services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Cheyenne on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. Interment services will be held at Beth El Cemetery.

Ballard Funeral Home in Cody and Schrader Funeral Home in Cheyenne are in charge of the arrangements.
