Alice Marie Clark, 91, of Cody, died Nov. 23, 2014, with her family by her side.

Alice was born April 19, 1923, in Rosebud, Ark., to Tom and Ola Cooper. At a young age her parents divorced and her father raised her. They traveled through the south and ended up in Lovell, where she met and later married Art Clark on May 17, 1940.

They had nine children: Terry (Dick Frish), Larry, Judy (Tom Hiltz), Jimmy (Sandy), Tommy (Jolene), Jerry (Tammy), Kimmie, Randy and Shelly. She also had lots of grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids.

In 2007, Alice had a stroke and then wasn’t able to work anymore or be left alone. So she was taken care of by her youngest daughter Shelly and Shelly’s three children Nichole, Billy and Emilee until the end.

Alice was preceded in death by her father Tom, mother Ola, her two brothers and little sister, her oldest son Larry and her ex-husband Art Clark.

Cremation has taken place and spreading of her ashes will be at a late date in Arkansas. A celebration of life get together is planned in Cody at 5 p.m. April 18 at the Irma in the Govenors Room.

The Clark family appreciates the prayers and thoughts during this big loss in their lives.

Everyone is welcome to come to Alice’s celebration of life, and the family hopes you can share any stories you have on how you met her and things you experience with her. Hope to see you there.
