Donald Leon Munson, 75, of Cody, died March 18, 2015, joining his wife, Darlene.
Six months without Darlene was more than Don could take.
Don was born May 16, 1939, in Riverton to Don and Nita Munson.
He graduated from Riverton High School. He was a mechanic for more than 40 years and owned Don’s Auto Repair Service after working many years with Barney Voerding as a mechanic.
He married the love of his life, Darlene, on June 7, 1957. He loved his kids and family, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping and life outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene and his parents.
Don is survived by his son Donald Tracy (Tina), and two daughters Debby Munson and Danette (Bill) Johnsey; grandchildren Jean Richards, Chris Richards, Ryan Stevens, Justin (Aleshia) Entz, Mandy (Justin) Gerlach, Katy (Chris) Dunks and Jesse (Rachel) Johnsey and nine and a half great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his sister-in-law Bonnie (Harold) Roth, niece Tammy (Blaine) Weston, nephew Troy (Tracey) Graham and great-nieces Shelby and Haylie Goodman and Ashley Graham.
A memorial service for both Don and Darlene will be Friday, March 27, at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Cody.
