Glenn Robert ‘Bob’ Johnson

Glenn Robert “Bob” Johnson, formerly of Powell, died Feb. 6, 2015, in Cave Junction, Ore. He was 82.

He was born March 8, 1932, in Byron and raised on Whistle Creek.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Penny and Frances Johnson and his brother Keith Johnson, and his high school sweetheart Dollie Clark Johnson. He and Dollie were married just three months short of 50 years.

He is survived by his present wife Sandy; his three children James (Polly), John (partner DiAnna) and Janet (Ron) West; Sandy’s two boy’s Lance (Beth) and Joey Freeman. Together they have nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren with one in the chute, and three great-great grandchildren.

Bob was a dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather and friend and loved serving anyone who needed help in any way.

A memorial service for Bob was held in Cave Junction, Ore., and also in Forks, Wash., where his three children placed his ashes next to his “Sweetheart,” Dollie.
