James Edward Eden, 75, died peacefully at Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, with members of his family at his side.
James was born on Nov. 27, 1939, in Powell to Edward Frank and Charlotte Frances (Snyder) Eden.
James could accomplish anything he set his mind to do and combined that with a tireless work ethic. He proudly served in the United States Navy from February 1959 to February 1963.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jean Eden of Douglas; sons Todd Eden (Nancy Williams) of New Richland, Minn., and Trevor (Melissa) Eden of San Diego, Calif.; daughter Tracie (Chuck) Speck of Colorado Springs, Colo.; mother Charlotte Eden of Douglas; sister Donna Underwood of Boulder, Wyo.; grandchildren; and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward, and daughter Terri Jean Eden, in 1970.
At his request, no service will be held.
