Chuck Pollet died Nov. 30, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was 65.
He was born Nov. 18, 1949, in Evanston and raised in Mountain View and various oil field communities throughout the Midwest.
Chuck was a loving father and grandfather. He worked for UPS for 37 years. Chuck enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and outdoor activities in Colorado and Wyoming. He served others throughout his life by his choice of employment and sharing of his resources with family and friends, or anyone in need of a friend. And always shared music!
Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Sean Pollet; his parents Charles Burl “Buck” Pollet and Mary “Naomi” Wilson Felix Pollet; a brother Jerry Dwayne Felix; a nephew Jerry Brionne Tanner; and sister-in-law Gladys Felix.
He is survived by his four children Justin (Val) Pollet, Heidi (Brad) Hubbell, Gini (Eric) Allen and Jennifer (Jon) Meyer; nine grandchildren; brother Wilson Felix; sister-in-law Flo Felix; sisters Christy Pollet Petrich (John) and Jicki Pollet Brown (Mike); and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
A remembrance gathering was held Monday, Dec. 8, at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo.
