Rosalie (Rotolo) Priest, 92, of Cody, died at the Wyoming Retirement Center in Basin on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014.

She was the eighth of 11 children born to Dominic and Jennie Cuccia Rotolo on Jan. 21, 1922, in Marion, Ill.

She married Kenneth Priest on April 28, 1946, in Pasadena, Texas. Kenneth and Rose moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in May 1950, where they lived until Kenneth died in September 1984. They were married for 38 years and had one daughter, Mona Horman. Rose moved to Cody in 2013 to be closer to family.

Rose loved to sew, crochet and cook. Her joy was playing the organ that Kenneth gave her.

She is survived by her daughter Mona (Ron) Horman of Cody; grandson Isaac Horman of Alaska; granddaughter Rachel Mitchell of Pennsylvania; and granddaughter Rebekah (Jerry) Hite of Virginia; great-grandsons Liam Scarbrough, Ashton Mitchell, Chase Royer-Hite; and great-granddaughter Kayla Royer.

Rose is also survived by her youngest brother Pete Rotolo of Benton, Ill., along with many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will take place at Ballard Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2. Visitation will be held the evening prior at the funeral home from 5-6:30 p.m. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, where Rose will be laid to rest with Kenneth.
