Margorie Gahagan George died Oct. 20, 2014, in San Dimas, Calif., after a short illness. She was 81.
Margorie was born in Loop, Pa., on Nov. 22, 1932.
She graduated from Powell High School in the Class of 1950. She married Robert “Bob” George in 1954.
Margorie worked as a registered nurse at Holy Cross Hospital in Granada Hills for 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer George of Carbondale, Colo.; son Tom (Lisa) George of LaVern, Calif.; granddaughters Marrisa George and Tessa George; sister Marion Stilwell of Gillette; and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert George, who died on Feb. 8, 2013.
Memorial services were held Oct. 25 at the Utter-McKinley Mortuary in Mission Hills, Calif.
