Casper resident Sarah Jane Good, 92, died Oct. 23, 2014, surrounded by loved ones at Central Wyoming Hospice due to complications from congestive heart failure.

Sarah was born April 15, 1922, in Byron.  

She met her future husband, Irvin Good, in Powell. They had two children together, both born in the Powell area. In 1953 they were transferred to Casper, where they remained, raising their family. She enjoyed working as a seamstress at Klines for 24 years before retiring.

Sarah had many talents — she was an avid gardener, seamstress, cake decorator, baker and cook. She was always generous and willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

She will be greatly missed by many.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Good and son Marvin Good.

She is survived by her daughter Donna English; son-in-law Arthur English; daughter–in-law Norma Good; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Von (William) Chapman as well as special friends Del and Terry Johnson.  

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bustard’s Funeral Home in Casper. At her request, a small service was held for close friends and family on Monday, Oct. 27, at Bustard’s, followed by a graveside service.
