Mary Shuko Ando died peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, in Sheridan, Wyo. She was 92.
Mary was born Sept. 7, 1922, in Rairden, Wyo., to Yoneazw (Tommy) and Tora Sato. On June 16, 1945, she married Masao Jack Ando and they farmed in the Powell area for many years. Mary was a devoted, caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by a daughter, Becky (Dennis) Duran; granddaughters Melissa Johns and Melinda (Keith) Krupcyznski; great-granddaughter Kaitlyn; great-grandson Liam and close family friend Kevin Crawford.
Cremation has taken place, and per her wishes no services are planned. A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
