John Earl Adams, 50, of St. Anthony, Idaho, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho, of complications from cancer.

John was born April 29, 1964, in Lovell to J.W. “Bill” Adams and Winifred Ruth Avery Adams.

He grew up in Lovell, and St. Anthony, Idaho; and graduated from South Fremont High School and Arizona Automotive Institute in Phoenix.

On June 6, 1987, he married Debbie Niendorf in St. Anthony. They lived in St. Anthony and Egin Idaho, and had three children, Jamie, Nickolas and Cassie.

Throughout his life John worked as a mechanic, a machinist and a truck driver for Madison County. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding his Harley with his biker brothers and sisters, anything automotive, and time with his friends riding ATVs or around a campfire. He always had an infectious smile and a hug for a friend.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Adams of St. Anthony; mother Winifred Adams Campbell of Powell; his children Jamie Adams, Nickolas Adams and Cassie Adams all of St. Anthony, Idaho; Courtney (Eric) Knoop, Delano, Minn., and newest family member exchange student Laura YoungSeo Park of Seoul, South Korea; sisters Judy (Jay) Clark of Ralston, Linda (Bill) Miller of Cowley and Kris (Rick) Lucus of Powell. He is also survived by mother-in-law Christine Scott of St. Anthony and one grandchild.  

He was preceded in death by his father J.W. “Bill” Adams and an infant son, Kevin Adams.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony. A picnic lunch at Keefer Memorial Park will follow.
